Kumon Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions

1. LUCKY DRAW

Kumon Malaysia is organising a Lucky Draw, in conjunction with the launch of KUMON CONNECT. Prizes worth up to a total of RM100,000 are up for grabs!

A) ELIGIBILITY

• The Lucky Draw will take place in the last week of September 2023, and is open to all Kumon students who are registered for 6 consecutive months between March to August 2023.
• Each Participant is eligible for one entry, for every subject that they are enrolled for.
• The following group of persons are not eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw:
  •  Children of Kumon Malaysia Staff and Instructors (including its affiliated and/or related companies)

• Kumon Malaysia reserves the right at any time to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify any Participant who does not meet the above eligibility criteria.

B) PRIZES

• The Prizes (“Prize” and “Prizes”) are as follows:

• Each winner is entitled to win only one (1) Prize.
• Prizes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.
• Kumon Malaysia will bear the cost of delivering the prize to the winner.
• Kumon Malaysia makes no representation, warranty or undertaking whatsoever as to any implied terms and conditions with respect to the Prizes, including, without limitation, relating to quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All winners shall accept the Prizes on an “as is” basis.
• Kumon Malaysia reserves the right to substitute the Prizes for other prizes that is of similar value at any time without prior notice, at its absolute discretion.

 

C) WINNERS SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

• Winners will be selected via a system-generated random draw at Kumon Malaysia’s office.
• Winners will be announced via Kumon Malaysia’s Website as well as Facebook and Instagram accounts in the first week of October 2023.
• Winners will be notified via mobile number, SMS or email, as per the Student Registration Forms.
• In the event that Kumon Malaysia is unable to contact any of the winners within 5 working days for whatsoever reason, the Prize of that particular winner will be forfeited at the sole discretion of Kumon Malaysia. No alternatives will be offered.

 

D) GENERAL

• The Lucky Draw is governed by these terms and conditions and accompanying details and/or guidelines (if any) as may be issued and specified by Kumon Malaysia.
• Participants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by the same.
• By participating in the Lucky Draw, all Participants are agreeable and shall give consent for Kumon Malaysia to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes that are necessary or related to their participation in the Lucky Draw.
• All winners and their parents shall give consent to Kumon Malaysia to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities, and any general information that Kumon Malaysia sees fit about the winners in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and grant Kumon Malaysia the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the winners for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purposes, without any payment or compensation. For the avoidance of doubt, if any winners and/or their parents do not consent to the said disclosure or publishing of their personal information, Kumon Malaysia would accord the prize to them, and thereafter, will allocate it to the next winner chosen by random selection.
• The Lucky Draw and all information published and related to it (including text, graphics, symbols, icons, software and trademarks) are protected by copyright and trademark and remains the sole property of Kumon Malaysia.
• Any images or pictorials used in promoting the Lucky Draw are purely for illustration purposes only.
• Kumon Malaysia reserves the right to vary, delete or add on to any of these terms and conditions without prior notice.
• In the event of a dispute, Kumon Malaysia reserves the right to make the final decision.
• Kumon Malaysia will not be held liable for any arising damages throughout the delivery process. No replacement and/or exchange of prizes will be entertained.
• The terms and conditions of this Lucky Draw shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
