Kumon Awards Students Studying Five Years Ahead of School Grade
This November, over 114 New Zealand students will be recognised for studying five or more years above their school grade level, at the 2016 annual Kumon Advanced Student Forum event.
With the theme ‘Celebrating Kumon’s Brightest Sparks’, these events acknowledge Kumon’s most advanced students on their achievements.
Students invited to the forums have developed exceptional academic skills and are independently studying maths or English material five (or more) years above their grade level. In addition, 105 programme graduates will be invited to the forum to be presented with their graduation plaques.
On the day, students will be recognised for their tenacity and perseverance and for challenging themselves every day through the Kumon worksheets. These young learners are establishing exceptional study habits now, for their future learning success.
The amazing ability of these students is a testament to Toru Kumon’s belief that, “There is no limit to how high one can advance through self-learning”.
The 2016 Kumon Advanced Student Forum will be held in Auckland on Sunday 27 November.
